Drama Review: Extraordinary You

assalamualaikum and hi everyone!

it's been a longggggggggg time since my last review on drama, MVs, books and etc. yeaaaap, coping up with my life after degree ended fuhh. hahahaha

since I've already finished my degree (all praise to Him), I've got more time to watch dramas, movies and also keep on update with more MVs and comeback from my favourite artists. watched some japanese, korean, and chinese dramas. for tonight, I will review one of kdrama that's on air so that you guys can give some thought of it whether to watch it or not.

DRAMA REVIEW: EXTRAORDINARY YOU

Run time: Wednesday - Thursday 

Episodes: 32 (each ep 30 minutes)

actually this is my first MBC drama for this year because so far I've only watched kdrama from TVN, KBS and JTBC for this year. I dont know why I'm not so into MBC kdrama this year. not feeling it but I can guaranteed you guys that this drama is a must watch! 

even though right now it's only in episode 2, I'm so excited and can't wait for next episodes because it's so damn good!! I'm a bit confused tbh for episode 1 but the truth that's been reveal will make you crave for more! 

Cast for this drama: 

Female lead: Kim Hye Yoon as Eun Dan O

Male Lead: Ro Woon as Haru

2nd Male Lead: Lee Jae Wook as Baek Kyung

of course we also have other actors such as Lee Na Eun as Lee Joo Da, Jung Gun Joo as Lee Do Hwa, Kim Young Jae as Oh Nam Jo, Lee Tae Ri as Jinmiche and last but not least Kim Ji In as Shin Sae Mi. 

what a beautiful cast isn't it?!! what's it about actually? this kdrama is actually an adaptation from a webtoon called July Discovered by Moo-Ryoo. it's a bit complicated actually to tell the synopsis of this kdrama since it may come of as a bit confusing to understand. i dont know about you guys but I am in the beginning. 

to simplify, this kdrama is about Dan O that suddenly realized she's living inside a manhwa (comic book). she doesnt believe it at first and thinks that she's suffering from memory lost but when she met Jinmichie, it all come to a light. Jinmichie already know that they are only characters from a manhwa which they cannot do anything as they wanted to be since they're controlled by the creator of the manhwa. Dan O is in disbelief at first but then feel happy because she thought that she's the main character but ooppps! not at all. she's just an extra because the real main character are Joo Da, Nam Ju and Do Hwa. it's a story about love triangle between these three people and Dan O only act as an extra in the comic book. 

not happy with the situation, Dan O tried to do the opposite of what the creater of manhwa wanted her life to be but it cant be changed since they're only a character. they cannot do what they wanted to do especially in the stage (head) phase. Baek Kyung is Dan O fiance but he never likes Dan O because of some conflict whereas Haru is the only one that can safe Dan O whenever she wanted to change the plot her life in the manhwa. the story got exciting when Dan O falls in love with Haru but tried to do anything just to be with him despite their little story plot in the manhwa. Baek Kyung suddenly feel jealous towards Dan O and Haru as he finally realizes that he loves Dan O. 

fuhhhh! Tried to simplify the synopsis but I just can't because I got excited when typing this post hahahahah! I've actually read the webtoon but it's still ongoing so I can't tell what to expect for the ending of this kdrama. may it be sad or happy ending, I'm gonna watch it! 

Kim Hye Yoon acting has charm and how she had acted in Sky Castle. been her fans since then and I'm so excited to watch another kdrama with her as a lead! Lee Jae Wook ahhhhhhh! I know that he had acted in WWW but since I still dont have the chance to watch the kdrama, I dont know what to expect from him but mannnnnn. He's so hot in this drama. I'm actually praying for him to be with Dan O yayyyyy! in the other hand, Ro Woon really made me fall in love with him in episodes 2. he's so handsome and I'm really looking forward for him in the next episodes. 

I can't wait to watch all the other episodes and I hope you guys can give it a try too! for the first two episodes, it's not a bad idea to give it a try! 😉
