another japanese drama review for today! starred by my most favourite japanese actor; Kento Yamazaki❤

DRAMA REVIEW: GOOD DOCTOR

this drama aired last year after the american version of Good Doctor has been released. the original version of this drama is actually from Korea starring Jo Won and Moon Chae Won. compared to the original version which have 20 episodes, this japanese version only have 10 episodes.
this drama is about Minato Shindo which is an autistic and has a savant syndrome. beyond that, he's pursuing his dream to become a pediatric surgeon. Akira Shiga; his guardian was surprised of his talent of fast memorizing and imagining human body. he then decided to support Minato Shindo to become a pediatric surgeon.
Akira Shiga works as a head director in a big hospital and decided to recruit Minato Shindo as pediatric surgeon there but it gains objection from the hospital staffs. after all those hassle and objection from doctors and directors from the hospital, he eventually become a pediatric surgeon at a big hospital. there, he meet Natsumi Seto and Seiji Takayama as his seniors that will help him in becoming a true pediatric surgeon.
this story is really heart warming and makes you cry along with Minato Shindo's journey in becoming pediatric surgeon. he meets a lot of patients and different kinds of cases which he's also learning to communicate with people. there's no love interaction between the male lead and female lead but it doesnt get boring because the story line of this drama is perfect with just watching Minato Shindo's journey. I actually love this japanese version compared to the american and korean version because this one really shows us the most important messages that it's supposed to deliver. maybe because it's only 10 episodes that's also one of the reasons why it doesnt have any love story between the male and female lead compared to korean version. in fact in the korean version, the love story started when it's only 1/3 episodes left. I heard there are more than 2 seasons for american version. I got bored in season 2 that's why I didnt continue watching the other seasons.
this is also one of my baby Kento's best work in his acting career as he perfectly portray the autistic and savant syndrome really well. he's so cute in this drama that I cant get enough of him! ❤❤❤ I cant wait for his new drama and movie in the upcoming 2020!
