Drama Review: A Korean Odyssey: Hwayugi

hellooooo holiday! so, I've promised you guys that I'm gonna make a review about all those MV's and Kdrama's that I've watched in 2017 and current drama that's airing. actually I wanted to review I'm Not A Robot but I really can't forget about another drama that'd stolen my heart! so, I'll do the review for INAR in my next post okay? hehe

A KOREAN ODYSSEY: HWAYUGI

yassssssss! as you guys can see, Lee Seung Gi starred in this drama! how excited is that? I've been his fan since My Girlfriend is a Gumiho! truthfully I really do miss him since his departure to military but oppa's back and I'm so happy that he's back to drama and variety show. even with MC-ing! ahhhhh, I love youuu oppaaaa!~

Hwayugi is actually an adaptation from a Chinese nove; 'Journey to the West'. also one of my favourite chinese drama. you guys should try watching it too! actually this drama was much anticipated because of the line up. there's Cha Seung Won, Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Hong Ki, Lee Se Young and also my oppa; ONE! 

the first episode was daebakkkk! it has a good start but because of some mistake on the set, there's some controversy in this drama and even considered to be cancelled after the second episode. nevertheless I'm so happy because all the controversy had ended and they're back. this drama is already in its six episode, I really cant wait for this week's episode! 

Lee Seung Gi --> Son Oh Gong

Cha Seung Won --> Ma Wang

Oh Yeon Seo --> Jin Sun Mi 

Lee Hong Ki --> P.K

Lee Se Young --> Bu Ja

this drama is actually about Jin Sun Mi that has the ability to see ghost and after her encounter with Ma Wang and Son Oh Gong, it became worst where all those evil spirit always disturb her daily live and she can't really enjoy her life. even her family do not like her. 

Son Oh Gong is locked up due to his action for about 500 years and Jin Sun Mi free him but with a contract that Son Oh Gong will come to help her whenever she call his name. unfortunately, Son Oh Gong break the promise and erase Jin Sun Mi's memory about his name. 

years later, they meet again. this time, Jin Sun Mi keep telling Son Oh Gong to fulfill his promise to her as she do not want to be disturbed by ghost again and help her when she's in danger. of course, Son Oh Gong declined but with the help from Ma Wang, finally Jin Sun Mi can get the hold of Son Oh Gong. 

by using Geumganggo, Jin Sun Mi and Son Oh Gong get tied together where Son Oh Gong fell in love with her and will always be there for her when she need him. even though his feelings for her is fake but as the time goes on, Son Oh Gong's feelings became real. 

basically this is the plot of the drama. there's more actually but this is the rough review about this drama up till episode six. I really recommend you guys to watch this drama because of the story line and also the casts. I dont really impressed with the cinematography in this drama but it's not so bad either. I'm more focused with the story rather than have time to enjoy the scenery ahahahah. but to be honest, I dont really love the editing nor the CG in this drama as how I love in Goblin and other fantasy drama. so yeah. but still! you guys should watch it! 

it airs every saturday and sunday. I dont really know the exact reasons but this drama always get subbed late and you need to wait until 3 days for an episode to be fully subbed. I watch it subbed at KissAsian after 2 or 3 days. I know, it's late right but what can I do? I'm hooked up hahahaha.

so, that's it for the review. I'm sorry if dont help much. if you guys have any MVs or Kdramas that you guys wanted to watch but dont really know whether it's worth it or not, do tell me because I'll try to watch it and give it a review since I'm still on my holiday. so, do drop comments!
